Meet the team behind Own Time & Space
Own Time & Space is led by a team deeply committed to supporting neurodivergent children and their families. Our work combines professional expertise with lived experience, allowing us to offer support that is understanding, practical and genuinely meaningful.
Claire Duggan
Founder & Director
Claire founded Own Time & Space to help families access the understanding and support she knows can make a real difference.
With over 15 years’ experience supporting children and families across Worcestershire, Claire has worked in primary education, the voluntary sector and as an Autism Specialist Advisor.
She holds a postgraduate qualification in Autism, Psychology and Education, alongside a degree in Integrated Working with Families and Early Years.
As a parent herself to a neurodivergent child, Claire passionately advocates for children and families navigating challenges within education and health systems. With a firm understanding of neuro-affirming practice her work is inspired by her university mentor leading Autistic advocate and author, Dr Luke Beardon.
